Those present at the 2021 Annual Parish Meeting learnt that MCOSO (Men Convicted Of Sexual Offences) have been authorised to be housed at HMP Hollesley Bay, although none are resident at the present time. This is part of a wider programme of the management of such men and was a decision taken by the Ministry of Justice. Representatives of the prison have also attended recent Parish Council meetings and answered questions put to them by Councillors and members of the public.

Does this raise a concern for you? Do you have questions about this that you want answered? If you have questions you can now raise these directly with the prison officer in charge of the project, Mr Barry Adam. Mr Adam’s e-mail address is barry.m.adam@justice.gov.uk A comprehensive list of the questions and replies will be compiled and will be published on the Hollesley Parish Council Website
